Getting started
Yes — the Free plan is free forever and covers everyday tracking. Pro and Max raise its limits on accounts, budgets, loans, recurring items and settle-up groups, and add foreign-currency accounts, IOUs, backups and imports; the pricing page shows what each plan includes and costs. Every new account also starts with a free 14-day trial of Pro.
Compare plansAfter signing up, onboarding walks you through creating your first account — pick a type (bank, card, wallet or cash), give it a name, and set the opening balance. You can add more, crypto included, at any time from Accounts → New account.
Yes, on Pro or Max. Settings → Data (Data & export in the Android app) imports a Monefy CSV export or a Balanzz backup file. Either import replaces all the data in your workspace, so export a copy first if you already have records you want to keep.
Accounts & data
Free accounts all use your base currency. Upgrading unlocks multi-currency accounts, so you can hold LKR and USD side by side and see balances converted at the current rate.
On every plan, Free included: Settings → Data (Data & export in the Android app) → Download my data gives you a full archive of every account, transaction, budget and lending record, as often as you like. On Pro and Max, Backup makes the same file for Restore.
Billing & plans
Pro and Max are bought in the Balanzz Android app, through Google Play, and your plan works on the web too. Upgrades start immediately. To cancel, open Google Play → Subscriptions: cancelling keeps your paid features until the end of the period you have already paid for, and after that the account returns to Free with all your data intact.
Get the Android appPlans are sold in the Balanzz Android app, and you pay through Google Play with any payment method Google Play offers you. The website does not sell plans for now. Your subscription is managed and cancelled in Google Play → Subscriptions.

No. You can add friends who are not on Balanzz to a settle-up group as contacts and keep track of what each of them owes and pays. Friends who have their own Balanzz account can be linked to the group instead, so both sides see the same balances and confirm a settlement.
Security & privacy
Your records are encrypted in transit, and uploaded files and backups are encrypted at rest. Access inside Balanzz is limited to the people who run it, your data is never sold, and there are no ads or advertising trackers. Balanzz does not connect to your bank — nothing moves money, because you enter what you choose to track.
Read the privacy policyYes. Delete your account from Settings in the app or on the web. It is locked for 30 days, so you can sign in and keep it if you change your mind, and after that everything personal is permanently erased. Export a copy first if you want to keep your records.
